    Re: Simple classroom grant

There are a number of things you might try:
    1. Have you checked the Foundation Center's site for foundations in
your state that fund educational projects?
    2. The Foundation Center also has a service where you can subscribe
for one month to find all of the corporations/businesses in your
    area that make charitable donations.
    3. $300 seems like a high price for a classroom carpet. You can
probably find a carpet of good quality and ample size for far less
at Big Lots or Ollie's Bargain Outlet
    4. If you take Carl's suggestion of the carpet squares you can
connect them to form a full size rug using carpet tape (applied to
the back of the squares) or by sewing them together with carpet
    thread.
    Best of luck to you.
