Post: Enter to win a $15,000 sustainable classroom upgrade
Schools are asked to challenge students to dream of a
sustainable classroom of the future. Hosted by Lutron
Electronics Co., Inc., the world leader in the design and
manufacture of energy-efficient lighting control products,
the challenge asks students to:
• Dream of a more energy-efficient, sustainable
classroom environment,
• Show how educators can use that environment to
teach students about sustainable living,
• Determine how students can take that message to a
broader community.
The winning idea will receive a $15,000 sustainable
classroom upgrade to make their Bright Green Dream come
true.
After October 12, 2009, judging will commence and 5
finalists will be announced by October 30, 2009. Lutron
will announce the grand prize winner during the Greenbuild
International Conference and Expo, November 11-13, 2009 in
Phoenix, Arizona.
Submissions may be in any format that can be uploaded to a
website. Examples include video, digital presentations,
written submissions, etc. To submit dreams for the
challenge, view the judging rubric, and for a complete set
of contest rules, visit the 2009 Bright Green Dream School
Sustainability Challenge website at
