Hello.

I am going to become a Spanish teacher soon. I was wondering if there were any Spanish teachers out there who have had any exotic animals from South America in their classroom, and if that turned out to enrich your Spanish classroom -- some kind of South American snake or frog, an iguana, spider, etc. What would work best?

Input from biology teachers would be welcome as well!
NBCT Ag Why not try a chinchilla? They are long lived...don't smell and make great class pets. As far as a Spanish teacher spin on it...well I am a Small Animal Care and Vet Science teacher but it would be cool to have kids write stories...label the habitat...etc... maybe even discuss the exotic animal trade as part of the cultures of some countries just m...See More
