Why not try a chinchilla? They are long lived...don't smell
and make great class pets. As far as a Spanish teacher spin
on it...well I am a Small Animal Care and Vet Science
teacher but it would be cool to have kids write
stories...label the habitat...etc... maybe even discuss the
exotic animal trade as part of the cultures of some
countries just my two cents...
