    Re: Jr. High School?

I am hoping to get all of the teachers to take a picture
with their favorite book, give me a list of their top 10
reads, and make a poster of this to hang outside of their
    door.

I would also like to have posters made of the top 20 books
from our school library (based on circulation numbers) as
well as a top 20 list of YA literature books in 2008 (from
    my library networking site).

I am looking for ideas to get the kids reading more,
discussing books, etc. I was thinking that we could open
the media center in the morning before school from 7:15 -
7:30 to give book talks/read to the kids for a week or two.

I also thought that we could have some sort of Maud Hart
Lovelace reading competition that would start in February
and run through the end of March.
