Isn't this approach a bit knuckle-headed. Do they really think
they can hide their turn-over? Doesn't the school board approve
applicants?
Can they count and do simple arithmetic? Number of applications I
approved, divided by the number of teachers in my district times
100 equals turnover percentage. Not exactly rocket science.
If I were a school board member and my central office tried
something like that I would do my best to get them all
dismissed. The board doesn't have a prayer of solving their
problems if the people they trust to run the district are not
providing accurate information.
Assuming of course that the board actually has the students' best
interests at heart, which isn't always the case.
