We will be in Alaska in September (I am retired.)

Our time will include a few days in Anchorage and an
afternoon-evening and another evening with nothing
scheduled in Fairbanks. There are also a couple of
afternoon-evenings of free time at Denali.

Can you recommend what to be sure to see/do and what to be
sure to skip to make best use of our time?

We are hikers, history and natural history buffs. My
brother and his traveling companion are not hikers but are
willing to walk. They are both antique dealers so history
is interesting to them.
