Re: Love teaching /Moving to Mobile County '09/to Jennofer R
Posted by Dianne Bernasconi on 6/08/08

I teach in Baldwin County. I love teaching here. Baldwin does
have its funding problems, due to tax abatement requests. My
advice is to go to www.bcbe.org, and check out any postings.
There were many layoffs this year. This amazes me since we
brought teachers over from the Phillapines last August. Baldwin
takes great pride in its educational system. Our student
population is very strong, but there are still teacher cuts. If
you are looking for private, try Bayside Academy in Daphne. If
you are looking for housing, I have a beautiful rental home that
will be vacant in July on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, in
    Fairhope.
Good luck! I am a New Orleans girl, myself. After living in
Boston for 22 years, we moved to Fairhope, just in time for Ivan.
