Re: Chambers County
Posted by 1st grade teacher on 6/23/08

Chambers County is an awesome place to live and teach. As
with any district, there are some places better than
others. I have taught here for many years and have been
quite pleased. That being said, there are zero jobs
available here. Alabama is about to go into proration like
it was 14 or so years ago and funding is just not there.
Chambers pink slipped several teachers with no plans on
rehiring those slots, despite what is posted on job boards.
That is just something they legally have to do.
