Since I am in FL and FL is always taken on a postcard
exchange, I am organizing a POSTCARD EXCHANGE for the
upcoming school year 2009-2010 for grades K-5. Sign up for
the exchange will take place until October 1, 2009. My
class and I have enjoyed this experience over the years. We
have fun writing postcards and receiving them. I have a map
in the room and connect each postcard with a string.
As long as everyone sends a postcard, it works great. I
would like one participant from each of the 50 states and
DC. This will be on a first come, first serve. I will have
all info after October 3rd and email every so often with
updates. Everyone will have enough time to complete
postcards and have them mailed by the end of February 2010.
Please email me, dalejr8girliegirl@yahoo.com, with the
following information if you would like to participate.
    Name
    School and grade
    School's full address
    Email

As people contact me; I will post updates with which states
have participants. After October 1st I will email everyone
    the address information
    States still needed:
    Alabama
    Arkansas
    Hawaii
    Idaho
    Iowa
    Missouri
    Nebraska
    Nevada
    Oklahoma
    Oregon
    Rhode Island
    South Dakota
    Tennessee

Postcards can be anything from the state. I have asked
parents to bring them in and mailed them through school
mail, or ask for a stamp with the postcard. There are many
options you can do with the postcards. Let’s try to get
every state, even though it is a late start.
