Sorry to be a downer, but competiton is high in EVERY district in
Northwest Arkansas, including Springdale and all the smaller
school districts in the area. Adding to the MAT grads from the
UofA, two small districts in the area are possibly closing next
year, and many of those teachers are trying to find jobs also.
Pretty much the only way to get in if you're not math is to sign
up to sub and tell EVERYONE that you'd love to take a long term
sub position. Then you'll have an in for the next year if a
position comes open.
