It's great to find this post. I'm new to Colorado and would
like to teach high school. My degree is in art and I'm
close to a degree in English. I understand the first step
is passing the Praxis 2 in my subject matter. It looks like
there is a test in art/concepts and another in language
arts. However, it seems that only the language arts test is
really of value in Colorado. Is that true? And, if so, is
that because art isn't being taught in highschools here?
Or, that there isn't a need for more art teachers? Any and
all info. will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Molly
