I teach in Fl and they are in the process of passing a new law that will tie teacher evalation to student growth (all based on the FCAT) How are Teachers in CO evaluated? Are they basing your evaluation on student growth? If so; how is that working? How does the state define student growth? I have many students in my class who simply do not care about the test. I am worried about how this new law is going to effect my career. Have they passed a similar law in CO? How long after passing the law did they actually chagne your evaluaiton?
Another FL Teacher Thanks for asking, I have the same question. I teach SPED in Martin County. Answers, CO teachers?
