Re: Elementary Ed Teacher CT

Can anyone explain the new hire process. My son (a new college
graduate) has several applications out and has not been called for
an interview, on CTREAP some of the positions he applied for were
filled and he did not receive an interview. He is very discouraged,
I appreciate any information you can provide. I never realized
teaching was a crowded field. He is a young male, honors deans list
Presidentail list, and no position for September. Every job he has
had since age 15 was working with children.
