Help! Posted by French Teacher on 7/10/08 Since you pay union dues, you should not have to "beg" Personnel for anything. The union should put some pressure on Personnel for you. That's why you pay union dues, right? They're supposed to be there for you when you need them. I don't think you are being unreasonable wanting to take unpaid leave when you have an infant.
