I don't really know too much about Boston so I can't really make a
comparison, but chances are you will be working in a pretty tough
school if you are teaching kindergarten or elementary. That being
said, it's really on you to make the best of it. I've met teachers
that thrive in the environment and teachers who didn't make it
through the first month. I will say that I enjoy living and
teaching in DC.
And I still believe that I can change the world... I just do it one
kid at a time so it's taking me a little longer than expected. ;)
