Let's face it...no intelligent parent should pay for any of their
children to invest money and time to major in education. Let the
"market place" deal with a severe shortage of teachers. I would sooner
pay for the training it would take to shoe horses than pay for a four
year education (in CA its five years) to become a teacher to earn $30k
a year...it just does not make sense in 2013 plus the possibility of be
shot on the job. What other professional (cops excepted) do employees
have to face the possibility of being shot on the job for $30K?
