Hello, I need some advice. I have been in an elementary media center for several years. I see all students in the school on a fixed schedule for 45 min. ea. class. I might be ready for a change. No grading or TKES are great for media specialist, but there is lots of more or less babysitting. I will miss connecting kids and books, but I have the possible chance to be a CTAE Early Childhood Instructor at the high school. I have an EDS in ECE and taught in the elem. classroom. I guess with any change, there is apprehension. I would love to hear from folks doing the CTAE job or high school teachers who have made the change from Elem. Thanks so much!
