A 50 state postcard exchange is looking for a primary
teacher from Iowa to participate.

All you need to do is submit your name and school
address. I will add your name to a database of other
teachers. In mid-to late October, you will address a post
card (with a pic of the area you live and info about your
state) to the schools listed. In return, you should
receive a postcard from the other schools.

Worried about the cost? I am going to ask parents for
donations of stamps and possibly post cards. I am going to
see if I can get any stores to donate the post cards, as
well.

I plan to post a map of the U.S. in the hall and hang
the post cards around it with the cities marked. Also, you
can put in the address in Google Earth and find the
locations that way too.
