Re: Remembering Great Teachers![]()

I agree 100%, there needs to be a way for former students to
send "thank yous" to teachers we love to remember.
I am trying to locate my grade school teacher from Linwood
Elementary School, Wichita, KS. Her name is Daisy Dean
Burris and she taught 4 and 5 grade during the aprox years
of 1962 to 1966. She would be about 70 years of age giave
or take a few. I know she lived North of the old Campbell
castle for a while in 1972, but after that I can't find
anymore leads. She was my favorite teacher of all my years
and I always admired her as a "Professional" working
woman. My mother was also a career woman and they were
my "idols". If any of your know of her, I would love to be
able to send her a message. Some of the other teachers
during that time were, Mrs. Henline-2nd grade, Mrs.
Buchanan-3rd grade, and Mrs Sigler-1st grade.
