There are definately jobs available. I would start applying
now. Districts are starting the hiring/interviewing
processes now. It will continue through the summer, but the
good districts are already hiring. I think you could find a
job in ESL or in EL ed whatever you prefer. Reading may be a
bit harder since there are fewer positions but there will
still be openings. Good luck!
