I teach in the Shawnee Mission School district and they are the
highest paying district in Kansas - not Wichita! Also, I would
beg to differ that Olathe is the top district! Shawnee Mission
is getting a lot more families with poverty, but they maintain
their high test scores. I would say Shawnee Mission and Blue
Valley are the top districts. I have parents that left the
Olathe district for the Shawnee Mission district. Shawnee
Mission is dedicated to teaching ESL kids!
