Post: NYC Art Teacher Moving to KS question about Certifi

Hello, I currently live in NYC and I intend on moving to KS
next year. I moved to NYC in 1985. I attended college out
here and am sooo tired of the politics here in NYC puplic
schools. I passed the New York State Teacher Certification
exams in Art Ed but I have not finished my MA. HEre in NYS
we need the LAST, ATSW and CST-ART. Does anyone know if
Kansas accepts New York State Certification in ART ED?? I
contacted the Kansas Departement of Ed but can not get an
answer. If anyone has any answers please contact me. I have
always been told that NY has recip agreements with states
but I can find any info on Kansas. Any suggesions would
help. --K
