Re: How do I get my teaching certification?
Posted by Diane on 10/23/02

I would probably call Pittsburg State University (since that
is probably the closest university to you) and see what they
tell you. You will have to get a teaching degree and you
probably need many education classes even though you have
another degree, and then will need to student teach. I am a
grad of Emporia State University--and it really is an
excellent teacher's college. If you are interested in a
quality education, ESU is a great place. You also might
check out the Kansas Dept. of Education Website for any
    information about teaching requirements.
    Good Luck!
