My hubby is currently working in Cincinnati and may have a
permanent job there. I currently teach profoundly
mentally disabled students in SC in a self contained
school serving several districts' most dieabled kids. Is
there anything similar in the Florence/Covington/Newport
areas?
Also my 13 yr old daughter is served thru our GATE program
and has been a part of Duke University's TIP program. Is
there one district better than another with support in
this area?
THird question, How does Teacher retirement work in KY? I
understand that teachers in OH are in a program not
including social security. Is KY the same? I have taught
for 25 yrs under Social Sec and don't want to lose those
bennies.
