I beg to differ, I was hired by JCPS in May in anticipation for
525 open positions. Therefore, that = *plenty* of jobs. I talked
to JCPS at a university job fair in Ohio and within a month, was
hired.
Good luck with trying to get into Oldham Co. They have the pick
of the litter so-to-speak in the way of teachers. A lot of
teachers live in the east end (better part of town) of Louisville
and Oldham is very close to them, plus Oldham co. has 2 of the
top performing middle schools in the state, and some top notch
elementry schools. I had 2 interviews and was passed over by my
lack of experience.
As someone else said...JCPS does not give you a choice of where
you are at, and yes, you can end up at a school you may not want
to be at.
