Re: teachnola pros/cons
Posted by New Orleans bound on 3/07/08

Please, please, please...let's all be professional. To those who only have
negative things to say about New Orleans education - let's be honest. Most
of us know that New Orleans education has gaps, but it will take dedicated,
caring people to try to make it better. If negativity is in your heart
enough for you to post it on a professional message board, stay away and
leave the educational rebuilding efforts who are willing to give it their
all. I was displaced to another state because of Katrina and I'll be going
back to New Orleans to teach next school year. The interview process may be
taxing, but THEY ARE REBUILDING and some of them are trying to do the best
    they can.

So to the nay sayers - STAY AWAY. We'll (the teachers and the students)
    will do just fine.
