Mrs. D, Thank you for choosing NOT to post on this thread again. (And for the record - we established right after the storm that we prefer not to be called victims or refugees, but evacuees and citizens). If everyone thought like you, we (no matter where we're located) wouldn't get anything accomplished. Adriana, Please use the POSITIVE words of your fellow teachers on this thread and make your decision wisely...YOU are the only one who can make your decision for you. New Orleans has good and bad areas, good and bad schools, but so do the surrounding areas. Pray that God will guide you to what's best for you (and your family). If your heart is in the right place, HE will lead you to the right place. I posted several websites to help you...I hope they give you direction. Be blessed.
