    Re: Hurricane
    Posted by Selena/4th on 9/06/08

I live in Baton Rouge and just got my power back on about an hour
ago! Woo Hoo! It has been a HOT, miserable week. Thank
goodness for the crank radio. That was the only communication we
had with the outside world. It was eerie at times and we often
felt "left in the dark" in more ways that one. We were very
fortunate, though, not to have any serious damage. Some schools
in Baton Rouge *may* get to start back on the 15th. It will
certainly be like starting the year over again.
