I am so sorry to hear that you are having difficulty. You
have a few options: First, I would check each students' IEP
for direction. Sometimes the IEP would dictate a certain
placement/class for the student that is not being provided
currently. Second, I would review this issue with the School
Psychologist assigned and recommend that the IEP team come
together to discuss if this child is properly placed. Also,
if this child is a behavior issue, training in proper
physical management is necessary for you and the assistant.
I am moving from AZ to LA to hopefully teach there in the
fall. If there is any other info. I can provide, let me know.
