Dear AZ Teacher,
Where are you from and WHY would you want to come here? If you
do choose to come to Shreveport to work as a teacher, you really
don't want to work in Caddo Parish...Bossier Parish is the way
to go!! Crime is pretty bad in most areas of Shreveport, not as
bad in Bossier. You do have to pay for your insurance in Caddo.
I'm a 3rd grade teacher in Caddo... haven't had the opportunity
to work in Bossier yet, so I'm not sure about their insurance.
Bossier teachers do make a little more money than Caddo
teachers. Hope this helps!!
