Here is how the process works.
You had your interview at the job fair which is an interview
for the county and if eligible puts you on a list of people
that the principals can then call and interview from. Many to
most principals are on vacation now. I know mine is and he
said most of them take the week after the 4th off. In
addition, the time period for intra county transfers just
ended at the end of July and they had to finalize all of that
first. Then they go to new hires to fill in the rest of the
spots.
If it were me, I would email each of the principals your
resume and state that you interviewed at the jobfair and that
you are interested in speaking to them abous positions that
might be available in their building. Even if they don't have
an opening, most will interview you b/c when an opening comes
up last minute, they then have a few people they already
interviewed and can get someone in the position quickly.
That is what I did.
I had my county interview in April of the year I was hired
and had school interviews during May and June. I was hired
that third week of June, I replaced someone who went to a new
program in the county. I was told that I was hired early for
a new hire.
