1. I'll be moving near Brunswick. What is the job market
like for elementary ed. teachers?
2. I've been on www.servingschools.com to check out
certification requirements, but am still not sure about my
certification. I have out-of-state certification. Does
Maine have reciprical agreements with other states?
3. I noticed that one requirement to teach in Maine is to
take the PPST from Praxis. I've been teaching 12 years
and have taken two Praxis tests (0011 and 0012). Is it
necessary to take a new teacher test?
4. We've been looking at houses online. They seem
awfully cheap in prices. Would you have any
recommendations as to good areas to live in around
Brunswick?
5. We're from the south and have never had to live in a
cold climate before. Should we stock up in anything
particular before coming up?
6. Which school districts would you recommend my trying
to find work with? Any I should stay away from?
