I want to let Missouri teachers know of a professional
development opportunity. The National Churchill Museum,
located on the campus of Westminster College in Fulton, MO
is hosting their 2nd annual Summer Teacher Workshop
"Teaching Churchill" June 25-27, 2009.
We are offering 3 keynote speakers, 7 sessions, and 1
graduate credit hour (through University of Missouri-Kansas
City). This is a great opportunity to learn about Winston
Churchill, one of the world's greatest 20th century leaders.
Participants will also learn how to use Churchill in a
variety of subjects (Social Studies, Geography, Language
Arts, Architecture, Art, and Math).
