    Re: Blue Cross Blue Shield
Posted by another question on 6/27/08

If you have BCBS and are a teacher, that insurance is completely
different than if you have BCBS with a company. There are two
teachers at our school whose husbands work labor-type jobs (NOTHING
to do with the state or education). They both have BCBS with their
companies but the deductibles and co-pays are completely different
    (and TOTALLY better!!!!!).

You'd think that since the state had SO many people covered with BCBS
that our insurance plans would be BETTER (since that's guaranteed $$
to the insurance provider). Instead, we have THE WORST!!

I don't get it at all.

And I'm in the same boat with the rest of you - I skip out on Dr.
appts for myself most of the time because I'm afraid I won't have the
$$ incase my kids become ill.
