It's nerve wracking, but you will be fine! No, no! Don't give up. I was called the first day of professional development when I got my job. That was 10 years ago. Every year our principal is thinking he is going to have to hire another teacher. Like these others have said, go visit the schools where you've applied. Make sure the principal sees your face.
