Your favorite lawmakers in Raleigh are planning a 'nice' raise for teachers when they meet in the short session in a few months. Interesting how they found some money In an election year-how convenient! Please don't let yourselves be fooled by this blatant attempt for votes. Remember all the damage this group has done over the past 4 years. No raises, a bone toss of a 'bonus', higher taxes including sales taxes and taxes on personal services and higher rates on just about everything else.

I like the way the previous poster worded it: Every test, every PLC meeting, every wasted moment on that useless evaluation tool ... yeah, remember. Remember it all.

Staying positive What I find so frustrating is that all these hoops we must jump through to prove we are good teachers make it harder to actually be a good teacher. Any planning has to be done at home in the evenings and weekends. There is no way to get any planning done during the scheduled day.
