Try looking at NJ for Math positions..NJHIRE.com or
NJSCHOOLJOBS.COM...we are always in demand for HQ Math and
Science teachers. My district pays 100 percent coverage for
teachers and their families. I am in yr. 13 and make 53500 and
have my family medical paid for. We ger 10 sick days, 3
personal, 5death in the family days, 2 critical illness days for
ill family members and more. I live in the southern part of the
state where the population is down. You may go into sticker shock
at the costs of housing but our salary is sufficient to cover the
costs of most things. Good Luck in your search.PS-New teachers in
our disrict start around 43000. Most of our contractual funds go
to the beginning of the salary scale...Did I mention that we have
a strong union in NJ?
