Hot off the presses: the November Teachers.Net Gazette....

Post: DonorsChoose.org helps teachers get new class materials

Posted by Rachel Gurshman on 11/12/07

Thanks for reading my post! DonorsChoose.org is a simple way
to fulfill needs and foster innovation in our public
schools. At this nonprofit website, teachers submit ideas
for experiences and materials that their students need to
learn. These ideas become reality when concerned
individuals, whom we call Citizen Philanthropists, choose
projects to fund. DonorsChoose.org has raised and directed
more than $14 million to classrooms.

Please check out our Web site - www.donorschoose.org. I
know it sounds too good to be true, but it's not! We'll be
doing a big media launch on November 15, which will drive a
lot of donors to the site. Make sure your project is there
    for them to fund!
