Post: complimentary copies of Grammar Today: The New American Lang

Posted by Richard Betting on 3/03/08

To North Dakota language arts teachers:
Those who are interested in looking at a new book about
teaching English, Grammar Today: The New American Language
and Grammar Primer, have the opportunity to request a
coomplimentary review copy. The book, which claims that
traditional grammar will not automatically improve student
writing and speaking skills, still suggests that teaching
grammar can be beneficial. One of the most important ways
is to improve student styles in various communication
situations. Those who wish to receive a copy can email
author Richard Betting at rbetting@netzero.com or write to
A Skeptical Press, Box 815, Valley City, ND 58072. Please
include your real mail address and a description of
English teaching situation. To see its table of contents
and more about the book, go to grammartoday.com
Richard Betting, Professor Emeritus, Valley City State
    University.
