    Thanks for your response. As much as I'd hoped to find a very
    rural teaching position, oddly enough, I ended up teaching in
    an inner-city school in Decatur, IL! Who would have thought I
    would find it so rewarding, but I do! My first love is still
    very remote, rural areas, however I do find my present job
    quite satisfying. I taught third grade this past year, and I
    will be teaching kindergarten for the first time this fall.
    Again, thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful response
    to my post. I hope your school finds a good replacement for
    your previous position, and I wish you well in your new
    endeavors.
