Re: ESL endorsement
Posted by Kelsey on 3/13/08

Not sure of any online universities, but I went to Wayne State
College and completed my ESL endorsement last summer. It is a
special endorsement -- 15 credits, 5 of them ESL and 6 in
    Intercultural Communication and Linguistics.

Since so many teachers who are already in the classroom find
that this is a valuable endorsement to have, the school is very
flexible about having classes hybrid online/face-to-face and on
    Saturdays for professionals.

Practicum is on your own, with visiting faculty to evaluate you.
    Like a mini student teaching.
