The Gallup Schools is so dysfunctional it's in the twilight
zone. I taught sped in N.M. for 38 years and for them twice.
The last time I was there a BD kiid tried to stab me and the
district covered it up completely. I gave a thirty day legal
notice and accepted a position elsewhere. Mr. Robert Gomez,
former Supt. blackballed me and it is still in effect today.
They continue to malign my reputation all these years later.
I am the bad guy because of an assault by a BD student?
Strange how that worked.
Take the case of a former principal at Navajo Elem. Instead
of firing him for incompetence, they promoted him to Central
Office so he could get his retirement. Quite a good old boy
club in Gallup's Central office, but no concern for teachers
or students.
