Post: Library/Media Specialists

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about library/media
specialist positions in New Mexico?

Are they on the same pay scale as teachers?

Do most schools employ a library/media specialist or do
they make do with a clerk/paraprofessional?

I am currently in an MLIS program and am hoping someday to
again be able to call your great state home.
