Post: Hobbs...how advanced or behind the times is it?

Posted by Nancy R on 8/09/08

We are considering a move to Hobbs and I might need to get
a teacing job in the elementary there. I'm from a district
that is pretty technologically advanced and is considered
to be on the cutting edge with NCLB and reading first, etc.
How would you describe Hobbs? Would I still have my Elmo
and computer access and parent portal gradbook and top of
the line curriculum and textbook....or would I be
scrambling to find an overhead projector and having to
scrounge around to find things to teach with and from?
