    They are similar only with the content being tested,
    otherwise they are different. TAKS is multiple choice all the
    way, this makes it easier for students. NMSBA is written
    response & Multiple Choice, therefore students have to know
    their stuff. Although the TAKS, in my opinion, is easier, on
    the NMSBA students will shock you with how much they have
    learned from your teaching. Taught in Texas for 1 year and NM
