What I'd like to know is whether the pay scale treats JDs as
doctors' degrees. I too am an attorney, but likely to
retire as an economist in a couple of years, and I too am
interested in teaching, although math seems more likely for
me. Ironically, it seems that the law and economics
background is poor preparation for the exams in teaching
social studies.
