I applied and was fully licensed without taking any tests. I had
taken tests in TX: the TECAT which was the first step to prove
teacher competence in 1985, and the tests I had taken to get
ELA/Reading cert. in TX But NM did not require any more tests from
me and I am licensed here until 2016.
