I live in San Juan County. Most of the schools around here
are not doing any major cutbacks or layoffs. However, they
are hiring as aparingly as possible. In other words, they
are shifting people within the district and increasing class
sizes before hiring. I just moved from one district to
another here in the county. So, depending on your
credentials, getting your "ideal" position may be impossible,
but being hired definitely ins't.
