There is, but unfortunately you can't have it.
Teachers who earned their permanent certificates by Sep 1,
2003 are able to keep their permanent certificate for life.
We don't have to convert to licenses; we don't have to worry
about LPDC/IPDP requirements; and we don't have to renew
every five years. Anyone who did not have a permanent
certificate by that date had to (or will have to) eventually
convert to licenses which expire every 5 years without
additional coursework.
