I am moving to Ohio soon and have questions about benefits. I teach in Georgia now and pay 230 for a family health ins plan, 60 for dental, 215 to the retirement system, 50 for disability and 40 for teacher association dues. What can I expect to pay for these same benefits in NE Ohio?

to benefits I am moving to Lake County with my spouse. I realize that it is difficult to get a position in that area. I am a special education teacher and am also a reading specialist and HQ in some of the social sciences. Thanks for the info.

GA to OH as well You realize you will have to take the Praxis unless you have already done so. I moved here nearly two years ago but I don't have the spec. ed background nor the reading specialist. Your odds are higher than mine in getting a job. I still don't have one but I am west of Cleveland where the "who you know not what you know" is VERY much the case. ...See More
